Henley on Todd Regatta

The Redback 2017 coincides with the Henley on Todd Regatta, which is a great spectacle event held on the Todd River in the centre of Alice Springs on Saturday afternoon. The Regatta involves a range of ‘boat races’ held on the dry river bed of the river with crews running, crawling and sliding their ‘boats’ around the very water-less course.

The Regatta takes place on Saturday afternoon after Stage 5, with sufficient time for most riders to come and check it out.

Read more and watch some of the videos from the Henley On Todd regatta here.
